Shapes and pattern

We are all familiar with two dimensional figures such as rectangle, square, diamond, triangle, circle. These shape are also called geometrical shapes. We can categorise these shapes in two types.
1. Two dimensional shapes
Two dimensional shapes have length and width(breadth), but no thickness. These are also called plane shapes. Square, triangle, rectangle, circle, oval, rhombus(diamond),pentagon, hexagon, octagon these are the some example for two dimensional shapes.
2. Three dimensional shapes.
Three dimensional shapes have length, width(breadth) and thickness(height). These are also called solid shapes. Cube, cone, pyramid, sphere, cylinder, prism, cuboid these are three dimensional shapes. A solid shape which has sides will slide and which has circle(curved) face will roll
